About the project

Portanova is currently the largest project in the eastern Croatian regions, and also one of the success stories of modern architecture. As with any large project, primarily you need an idea , then an elaboration of the idea, then you have to start implementation and at the end ,the best part, the completion of the project. So the idea of building the center began in 2007, all permits were granted in early 2009 , and the works themselves have begun on 15.05.2009. Every day Portanova was bigger and bigger and slowly began to take a look that was introduced in 2007. At the end comes the most beautiful thing: the completion of the project, and the opening on 24.03.2011. There were over 1000 people of various skills and professions active on the project.
